Munday Tunage #107

The sun (and clouds) were out again this weekend and what a lovely time was had, friends, music and dancy dancy. Here are the 5 tracks selected that have been in my ears the past week, old, new and awesome.

Tobtok - Aber

To me this song has such a positive and playful melody to be had, Tobtok created it as a not just a new track but an expression of his emotions during a difficult time, I'll let him explain it:

"Aber is about the struggles in life and the way we overcome them and grow from them, After personally overcoming a battle with cancer. 'Aber' which translates from Swedish to "an unexpected obstacle" is a dedication to life."

Poolside - And The Sea (Daniel T. Remix)

A rare treat to get a remix of a guy who is a legend when it comes to remixing other peoples work, Daniel T. creates an alternative reality version of the original, still keeping the Poolside vibes but stamping his own vibes. Check out original here

Armand Van Helden - I Want Your Soul

Okay so this is not so much a new track but man it takes one back to the electro hey days of 2007.

Air Max '97 - 'Core Work'

I love the attitude that this track uses and amazing usage of percussion! check out the Givenchy video below to see how I discovered this beauty.

The Soft Moon - Black

Everyone needs a little dark in their lives why not in music too? great atmospheric track evoking NIN and industrial techno.

VIDEO

Spectacular use of editing and music selection, really gives this collection the platform to shove high fashion right down your eye sockets.
